AFTER SCHOOL CARE

A "Home Away from Home" Our After School Program is designed not merely as childcare, but as a seamless continuation of the Montessori philosophy your child experiences during the school day. We provide a bridge between school and home, offering a nurturing, "prepared environment" where children can decompress, socialize, and explore interests at their own pace.

Unlike the high-focus "work cycle" of the morning, the afternoon program emphasizes relaxation, creative expression, and social cohesion. It is a community where mixed-age groups (Primary and Elementary) interact, fostering leadership in older students and confidence in younger ones.

Continuity of Care

The same principles of respect, independence, and "freedom within limits" apply here. Children are encouraged to choose their activities, resolve conflicts peacefully using the "Peace Table," and care for their environment.

We view the afternoon as a prime opportunity for life skills. Children participate in preparing their own snacks, caring for plants/pets, and maintaining the order of the room, reinforcing their sense of ownership and responsibility.

The unstructured (yet supervised) nature of after-care allows for organic friendship building. Children learn to negotiate rules for games, collaborate on large art projects, and support one another emotionally.
