Emergency Information

School Closures

Snow and weather-related closures occasionally occur; listen to KIT (1280 AM) and KNDO-TV for notification. Closures will also be listed on this website in the NEWS section and posted to our Facebook page. We usually follow the Yakima School District in delaying or closing due to weather; however, due to the fact some families and staff that live in remote areas, we sometimes close when Yakima Schools do not. When conditions are marginal, a staff member may contact you with additional information.
