School Closures
Scheduled holidays and vacations are listed in the annual calendar.
Snow- and weather-related closures occasionally occur; listen to KIT (1280 AM) and KNDO-TV for notification. We usually follow the Yakima School District in delaying or closing due to weather; HOWEVER, due to the fact some families and staff that live in remote areas, we sometimes close when Yakima Schools do not. When conditions are marginal, a staff member may contact you with additional information.
